The women’s cycling Tour of Italy in Friuli sport
Tarcento, Buja, Artegna, Gemona and Montenars will be the main towns of Friuli crossed Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 by the 2nd stage of the Cycling Tour of Italian women, one of the ten parts of the women’s cycling Tour of Italy, the only competition at stages remained in the international women’s cycling.
The presentation of the event took place in Buja, in the presence of the mayors of the municipalities involved, the President of the Province of Udine, Pietro Fontanini, Enzo Cainero, promoter of Friuli stages of the Tour of Italy andBeppe Riot, patron of the Tour.
The initiative, due to the direct financial commitment of the municipalities, will also be organized as part of celebrations to commemorate the earthquake of 1976, together with the mountain community of Gemonese Canal Iron and Valcanale. Cross as said most of the sites affected by the earthquake, and starting from Tarcento, after touching Nimis and Reana will head to Buja, Majano, San Daniele, Forgaria, Trasaghis, Osoppo and Artegna, then close with a spectacular final circuit on streets of Gemona and Montenars, where the arrival are set.
